Returns Policy

Due to the nature of our product, fresh, wild, Alaska Copper River salmon, we do not accept returns.

We meticulously package your salmon in foil bubble wrap and frozen gel ice to insure cold tempatures during transit. If you experience any problems, please Contact Us immediately.

Shipping

We
ship via UPS, FedEx or Alaska Airlines to virtually any address in the United States.

When you place an order, you must choose the method of shipping you desire, UPS, FedEx, Alaska Airlines or Will Call.

For Alaska Airlines, you must choose the airport where you will pick up your fish, the address, city, state and zip code can be found here. Make note of this address and/or save it to your address book, and use it as your "ship to" address. Alaska Airline shipments are shipped to the airport of your choice, which provides for the most expedient/cost effective shipping method, and must be picked up during their cargo hours. Alaska Airline shipments are placed in transit the day after the fishing period ends, typically putting fish in your kitchen within 48 hours of swimming in the ocean.

UPS shipments are shipped as "next day air" or "2nd day air" in addition to the transit day from Cordova. With Cordova's weather patterns, cargo planes are not as reliable as Alaska Airlines and are sometimes cancelled or delayed. The special process and handling performed by Gulkana Seafoods Direct ensures the integrity of your salmon to sustain this transit time without harm to the quality you have come to expect from GSD. UPS, therefore, is an acceptable alternative to Alaska Airlines shippping.

FedEx shipments are shipped  "2nd Day AM" with guaranteed delivery between 10:30 and noon to most places, "Standard Overnight" with delivery by 5pm or "Priority Overnight" with guaranteed delivery by 10:30 am. Using the FedEx shipping option has it's limitations in that Cordova does not have a FedEx terminal. We ship your salmon to Anchorage via Alaska Airlines, FedEx picks it up from Alaska Airlines and completes the transit to your door. Because of this two step process and the hours of FedEx operation, we can only begin the shipping process on Sundays or Tuesdays enabling Tuesday or Thursday deliveries. Occasionally, we can also ship on Wednesdays enabling a Friday delivery. This shipping method, while convenient, can add up to 5 days from sea to your door. The special process and handling performed by Gulkana Seafoods Direct ensures the integrity of your salmon to sustain this transit time without harm to the quality you have come to expect, however, we do recommend using Alaska Airlines or UPS if at all possible.

A tracking number is noted on your final invoice that is emailed to you at the time of shipping.

Will Call orders will be available for pick up or delivery upon completion of the fishing period.
